

The Gym Elkins Park has a lot of wonderful programs to offer and I would have to say hands down, I enjoy Fit Body Boot Camp the most. I’ve never been pushed so hard in any other physical activity and after one training session I was hooked! You not only receive the expert guidance and support of a Personal Trainer, you also feel inspired by the camaraderie with other Boot Camp Members to train with even more passion.
With the help of The Gym and Fit Body Boot Camp, I have lost 90 lbs over the past 16 months and I am still shedding weight! Before starting Personal Training with Mark at The Gym, I was overweight and my health was suffering. I was always athletically inclined in school, but as I got older, I became less involved in sports. It really started to show in my weight gain and poor health.

When I met with Mark to discuss a Personal Training program, I wanted his expertise and motivation to help me attain the favorable results that I was not getting on my own. Before joining Fit Body Boot Camp, I noticed a negative change in my general health. Even walking up a flight of stairs made me short of breath and no matter how carefully I ate, my waist continued to expand.
From my very first Boot Camp, my Boot Camp Trainers, Mike and Mark, have been outstanding! They always demonstrate the proper technique for each exercise and encourage you to give it your all at each session. They are also quick to remind you, if they feel you are dogging it as well. Support comes from my fellow Boot Campers, as you will often hear their words of encouragement, if you’re struggling through an exercise.
From Boot Camp start to finish I am on the go, and it sets a great tone for my entire day. I attend Boot Camp three days a week and afterwards, I feel energized the entire day.
For me, my biggest benefit of Membership at Fit Body Boot Camp has been the improvement in how I look and feel about myself. I am back to my waist size of two years ago, lowering my body fat by 12%, and have all but lost my second chin, all without dieting. As an added bonus, with my increased flexibility, resulting from stretching exercises, I find that my golf game has improved as well!
I would recommend Fit Body Boot Camp to anyone who is unhappy with the way they look and feel. In every Boot Camp, you will find Members from their 20’s into their late 50’s. We all work together and encourage each other at every training session. Although each Boot Camper is at a different fitness level, we are all here for the same reason–to improve ourselves and to look and feel better.

I was interested in Fit Body Boot Camp primarily to lose fat, but also to gain lean muscle mass to appear less bulky. After years of ordinary gym workouts with little physical changes, I was really surprised that after just a month, I have lost 10 pounds and dropped more than 2% body fat.
I am really pleased that my abdominals are now much leaner and firmer, and my hamstrings and upper body are showing noticeable definition. I am really hooked on Fit Body Boot Camp! Anybody that is interested in improving their physique fast should definitely try Fit Body Boot Camp!

After three months at Fit Body Boot Camp, I am definitely stronger, my clothes fit better, I am more toned than before, and I have a lot more stamina now. When I joined The Gym I really hated to exercise, even though I knew it was good for me. Exercising never interested me. When I did work out, I became bored very quickly, then I would stop exercising. A few months ago, a family friend informed me about Fit Body Boot Camp, which is a high intensity workout that included both cardio and strength training.
This new exercise method literally changed my life. I could not believe how quickly I started losing weight. Initially, I joined Fit Body Boot Camp for the challenge as I had heard that Boot Camp was a fantastic workout that provided many more benefits than my more traditional workouts. Boot Camps were reputed to be tougher than my current routine, but what the heck, I was in shape, right?
Well, to my surprise, I was totally exhausted, in a good way, after completing my first few Boot Camps! But after about two weeks, I noticed that my stamina really improved.
